ABOUT TEAM PHX

Scott Brown, Dan Maxey, and Tyler TerMeer on AIDS LifeCycle 9

ALC Team PHX is an official (we used to be unofficial!) AIDS LifeCycle team based in Phoenix, Arizona. Throughout AIDS LifeCycle 8, Dan Maxey and Tyler TerMeer - the team's two "original" members were mostly commonly referred to as "Team Lucky Dog" - a moniker that originated with our sponsored jerseys from Phoenix-based Lucky Dog Creative. On AIDS LifeCycle 9, we were joined on the road by Scott Brown. We never really identified as a "team" so much as a group of friends riding until other riders on the Paul Hulse Memorial Century Ride and AIDS LifeCycle 9 started to call us things like Team Phoenix, Team Arizona, and The Arizona Boys.

We've been called worse, but that's how it started! ALC Team PHX was born.

We can't really continue to be identified as "The Arizona Boys". ALC Team PHX has grown beyond just being three guys from Arizona. We are so proud to welcome new cyclists to AIDS LifeCycle for ALC 10 and look forward to rejoining the AIDS LifeCycle community with an even larger contingency in 2011!

In addition to participating in AIDS LifeCycle, ALC Team PHX also has members participating in the Baby Dragon 180 Ride and various Positive Pedaler rides each year.

Take a moment to meet the team! And if you're interested in joining us for a training ride or AIDS LifeCycle, drop us a line!
